Time to Knit

Recently I found some fun yarn during my yard sale expeditions for very cheap! There was only one skein of this color so I think I'll start with it. Just a scarf of course. I like mindless knitting for the most part but sometimes I will tackle a pattern. 

I don't knit very often so every time I pick up the needles I need a refresher. Youtube is awesome for that! My favorite cast on is the Long Tail Cast On. This tutorial is by Knitpicks.

It wasn't until I felt the weather starting to change that I felt the need to knit. I look forward to the fall.
