Puff Ball Mushroom

I stomped on a big round mushroom for old times sake. I was hoping it was what I remember as a "puff ball". It may have been but it was early and the ground was damp. What was supposed to happen was that upon stomping on it a clound of "puff" would be created. I now know that they are actually spores.

I got great satisfaction out of stomping on it. Maybe I'll try again next time I see one and hope for a better result. At least it made a good noise.

After googling "Puff Ball" for the stock photo, it turns out I am correct and it actually IS called a Puff Ball Mushroom!
